Cyber....was thru there on weds, and that thing made a heck of a mess. You and alot of other folks are going to be looking for loggers and clean up crews, good luck with that. But on the bright side, the trees will come back over time, and you have lots of firewood for campfires, to tell all your stories to the grandkids, need to look for the bright spots. Beautiful part of the State. Good luck!

Here's what our place looks like after the tornado. Property is a mess too. Neighbor brought in an excavator to remove the oak tree from his house and clear the main driveway.

My heart goes out to everyone that had damage and property loss from these storms. Having been through too many tropical storms and a hurricane that did a 100K worth of damage to my home, the best advice I can give you is to take it one day at a time. The task of getting back to normal can be a daunting and an overwhelming one as it is hard to figure out where one even starts. Taking things in small doses helped me get through the process of fixing plants during the day for work and then going home to work on fixing the house at night to where it was safe and dry.

Best of luck.

The final report is in: The tornado tracked for 83 miles, making it the longest tornado in WI since at least modern tornado documentation began in 1950

The updated map reflects my direct hit just south of hwy 8 on the county line, still sux big time..

And we usually don't get any tornado's until the hot muggy weather in July.
