Default Marlin 44mag. lever action?

I was given an older Marlin Lever Action in 44mag. What's a ball park worth on this gun? It is in average condition.

Go to Gunbroker.com I believe it's worth much more than 150. I'd love to have one!!!

Need more information to give any kind of accurate estimate. 336 or 1894 model? When you say older how old do you mean? Walnut or hard wood stock? Checkering or not? When you say average condition I consider that about 90% which would generally put it in the $250-$300 range.

Ya , I might be a bit low at $150 but I bet money doesn't trade hands much above $225

If someone gave me one of those, I wouldn't care what it was worth. I'd be too busy shooting it. Lever rifles in 44Mag or 45 LC are a joy. Minimal recoil, big thump downrange.
