Default Ranger 620 windshield, Rain X?

I have a 2013 Ranger 620 with the double plastic windshield (not full).
Has anyone used Rain X on them? I love it on my truck and think it would be great on the boat. I just don't know if it will damage the windshield since it is not glass.

I think if you read the fine print on the RainX bottle it says not to use on plastic. I use it on my glass sunglass's and my full windshield and it works great.

Rain x works great on polycarbonate.
As a snowmobile racer of past years, we'd rain x our goggle lenses.
Major advantage, no issues.

http://www.rainx.com/tips-information/faqs/

If you look at the last question, the answer states that it is to be used only on glass and NOT on plastic windscreens.

Be safe

I used it on the windshields of my Harleys for years. No problems, just great results, and they are most certainly made out of plastic or polycarbonate or whatever you want to call it.

We have used it on heated laminated polycarbonate windshields on aircraft. Put it on your boat windshield. It wont cause any damage.

It works great! Use it and don't be afraid of what the bottle says. I have used it for ever with no adverse affects.
