A FLW roster would make picking a winner and the top ten a whole lot easier for all of us. I am not even sure if all these picks are signed up. Anyway here goes. These are my picks.

1. Reggie Thiel, if he gets in would be my favorite. A past PWT winner on Leech, he has guided there for years. Reggie deserves this win in my book and I believe he has the horses to do it!
2. Mark Christianson, is as good as there is on Leech also. My second pick to make the top ten if Mark signs up and maybe even bump Reggie out of the #1 spot.
3. Chris Gilman, A tough as they come Minnesota angler and last years FLW Championship winner on Leech.
4. Eric Olson, another Minnesota angler and last years Lake Oahe FLW Winner. Eric is hungry for his second FLW win.
5. Scott Steil, a Minnesota boy, he is a former FLW Champion at Bismark and a FLW winner on neighboring Cass Lake. Scott knows live bait rigging Minnesota style.
6. Bro Brosdahl, Minnesota born and raised. A perennial favorite on Leech lake. Question is? Can Bro keep it together and put three solid days together to nail down a win?
7. Jeff Woodruff, a respected, well known, experienced local guide who could be the dark horse in this rodeo.
8. Rick Olson, a South Dakota, highly talented angler who is long over due for a big win. Ole is one of the best where ever he goes. A long shot but Leech lake could be his shining hour.
9. Toby Kaveliog, another talented Minnesota angler. As tough as there is on Northern MN lakes. If Toby wins, maybe then we will all learn how to spell his last name right! Including me!
10. Baby Parsons, an up and coming Wisconsin angler following in his daddies footsteps. Certainly enough raw talent, but still a question mark when it comes to winning? Can Baby Parsons like Brosdahl bear down and put together three strong days to pick up that elusive first win?

Honorable mention:
Stier
Meleen
Seehloff
Daddy Parsons
Harsh
Kerkfleit
Courts
Crow
Good
Jason S.

My Top Ten picks are loaded with Minnesota anglers. 8 out of 10. Time will tell. It should be a fun, hard fought Derby!

Those are my picks. Now let's see yours!
Mark Courts will finish top (3) three.

Good luck up there! I fished Leech 2 years ago as a co and had a blast. I didn't make the cut, but I took my boat out the day after and had one of the best days of fishing I've ever had.

Default Bro's Show

I also hope Schneider does well, I wonder when he went out there, since the rest of TRS team "coat tailers" were fishing the MWS on Sunday ?

Not sure about the rest of your field but your #1 pic looks good to me! (bias also)

Go TK!
