Fenwick rods limited lifetime warranty
Just thought I'd throw this out there. I've got 3 or 4 generations of HMG rods totaling 10 or so. Never had a problem with any of them until this year. I bought 2 back in April and sent them both back to Fenwick 11 days ago after some email correspondence. One had a defective reel seat and the other a defective tip. Per their warranty policy, shipping was on my dime. I got 2 replacements today. Kinda upset I had to pay for return shipping on 2 virtually brand new rods. I'm happy the turn around time was quick and no questions asked.

I believe you can take them back to the retailer for an over the counter swap if they still have your model on the shelf....... unless they changed that also.

Keep your reciept for the life of the rod, if it breaks a few years down the road, you need the reciept (or proof of purchase) in order for the warranty to be honored (learned the hard way a few weeks ago)

Excellent Fenwick Warranty Service 2017
Hi I just thought I would share the excellent warranty service experience I just received from Fenwick. My 3 year old Elite Tech Smallmouth rod snapped in half while fishing recently. I called fenwick they asked me what happened and asked me to ship the rod into them. I shipped it to them and within 3 weeks a brand new rod showed up on my doorstep.
No hassle way to go fenwick! |
