Question on Ranger 1850 windshield?
I noticed when closing the window that the driver side console vibrates, is this natural. I don't have boat yet, they are still rigging. I talked to one person and he said, he thinks its the best that can be done. The windshield was put on at Ranger factory. If its natural all is fine, if not should I insist they try and adjust. Or do I call Ranger and see what they feel should be done? If any of you 1850 can owners can answer this, it would be much appreciated. Its a 2012 Reata 1850.

Mine has never vibrated. My door binds against the top inch or two of the door to drivers side wind screen. Ranger adjusted it at the factory with no avail. I have had the whole thing off twice in an attempt to adjust it out by taking the gasket off the glass and moving the frame in alignment then reinstall the gasket. That worked for a few outings and then right back to binding.
I had a new four blade prop make the steering cables vibrate along the gunnel to the helm when idling along in gear. They couldn't find anything wrong with the prop but sent me another one just to try and satisfy me. The second prop was night and day different than the first. I tell this story because the vibration may be coming from the prop. I hope you get it resolved.

My 2006 does not bind or vibrate. The console should NOT vibrate!

Question on Ranger 1850 windshield?
I did drive the boat for test drive, the windshield is fine no problems. I just noticed when doing things at dealership and closing window that it causes alittle vibration on drivers side. I did try when I had my 05 and it did it as well but not as much.
