You should be able to remove the screws from just the instrument panel and pull the panel out just far enough to get to everything. Make sure there hasn't, been water in the gauge. If there has been you will need to replace it. Hope all goes well.

WW, that worked great. It was a little tight, but so much easier than going at it from below. Put it in the water on Navajo Lake and no more leak. Thanks a bunch.

Welcome Fisher-man! How is the water level down there. I come down in May many years to hit the crappie.
Glad things worked out. I am like you in that laying under the dash is a challenge.
