Default 238 attwood bases

Does anyone know of a place that sells covers for the 238 attwood series seat bases? Or does anyone have any practical way of covering unused floor seat bases. Searched the net and I found nothing. Would be nice to not have debris in the wholes when not in use.

I remember ordering something like that for a customer, back in the late '90s. It was a plasitc insert thingamabob. They listed it in their catalog, but no picture! We ordered on blind faith, they were sent to his house, and I never heard from him again.....so, who knows??

Anyways, they still list a 238300-1 splash cup. Might wanna call them and see.

That's another place who had a nice special order list of Attwood stuff. They might know too if you call (if that is a cap/cover).

Good luck.

I had problems finding something made by the marine industry. I ended up using 2 3/8" covers used to fill the holes in a desk where computer cords would usually be run through. You can find them at any office or home inprovement store for a few dollars.

Thanks, Sounds like maybe what I'm after. But for 19.71 each, I may look in another direction. Again, thanks for the reply.

I also suggest some slip resistant tape on the darn slippery bases in non-used locations. Took quite a spil recently in heavy chop.
