Default Planer Boards and Trolling Rods

If storage space was limited and you were only going to have 2 rod and reel combos for trolling in your boat, what would those 2 be, and what 2 planer boards would you have?

Diawa Sealine 27LCA and a BPS Walleye Angler 7.5' trolling rod with offshore boards and the OR-18 Snapper and OR-16 clips.

I would have 7'-7'6" Medium. Either Scheels or Fenwick. They would work for most any trolling and bottom bouncing situation.

Boards would defniately be Off Shore.

Most people prefer the Tekota's, any special reason?

The drags are awesome compared to other factory drags. Their smooth as can be.

Only thing I cannot get used to the the recessed clicker button. Not always the easiest to turn off while fighting a fish.

Either shimano compre 8'3" med or st croix eyecon 8' med. I like the action of the shimano slightly better but I do not like telescopic rods. I fish a lot of long harnesses and if they colapse while running it makes for one heck of a mess.

If you want a cheap do all rod as Juls stated the 7' ugly stick 1 piece rods get my vote.

My all time favorite was the old g Loomis 7'10" 1 piece rods. Great action and loved the 1 piece and still able to put them in my rod locker. Sadly they've been discontinued for a long time.
