I have the same motor and have tried several SS props, but I went back to the black steel prop 17p that came from yamaha. The problem you'll have with SS and that motor is vibration at very low RPM's when backtrolling, especilly when you dial your RPM's down with the VTS.

Overall, I think the Black steel 17p from Yamaha is the best all around prop for that setup you have. I run that motor on a 175 Navigator.

Default interesting

I have an F90 with the aluminum prop that came with it.....ive heard a lot of discussion about the increased performance from the ss props....

2 reasons why im keeping my aluminum,,,,,

1 if it aint broke,,,,don't fix it.....I love the boat as it is,,,its on top of the water faster than you can cash your IRS tax return,,,,,and tops aout around 41mph,,,,plenty fast for me

2 I fish in some stumpy places at times,,,,,would rather bend my blade than my shaft...........ouch

not saying that anything I say makes sense, im just good with the f90 as it is
