Question Lake Wingra near U of W...have you ever fished it?

looking to spend some time on lake wingra in october for musky...has anyone ever fished this lake?

I used to live in Madison and here is some info on Lake Wingra.
Its small, electric motors only and pretty much featureless. Its not very deep and filled with weeds. Fish density is high but size is on the smaller end. I have caught 15-20 fish out of that lake and did get 1-46", a couple others over 40" but the majority run ~30-35". If you go here in the fall my advice would be to fish straight out from the access in that deeper hole or straight across the lake and drag smaller suckers (8-12") while casting. You should definitely get bit.
For fishing this lake my advice would be to fish down the middle (only 10-12 FOW) and fan cast. If that doesnt work work the weed edges.
