Default Minn Kota

Interested in replacing my trolling motor but would like opinion as to what model for musky casting Sold on Minn Kota brand 24 volts on a Ranger .You opinion? thank you

I would choose the Terova series, 80LB.
The Ulterra's have had some issues with deploying and linking.
The cable drives are uncomfortable in big waves and would require you to stand on a large pedal all day.
I don't care for the power drive pedal as much.

Terrova or Ulterra. Terrova is more reliable but the auto stow/deploy is nice especially in rough water and/or fishing alone (safety factor).

i HAVE a terrova 112 us2 36 volt 60" with i-piolt link for sale it 1 1/2 year old
i upgraded to a ulterra im in mn

Terrova or Ulterra, per above.
...depending on what size Ranger...I'd sure go to a 36 volt, 112 thrust model if you can.

Lotta people will say the 24 volt, 80 lb. version is enough...and it might be for them...but the 36 volt version is better unless you can't find room for the extra battery or your budget won't allow it.
