We were planning to fly to Little Vermilion Lake, just north of Red Lake, Ontario, on May 19 for the walleye opener. This will be my 28th consecutive opener on the same water. I intend to keep at it until I get the hang of it.

Just got off the phone with one of my long time fishing partners and we think it's a good idea to go in May 12, fish pike for a week, and then have the rest of our party join us for a week of fishing the walleye opener which begins May 19.

I'm "there" year round!!!!

T- 70 days or so. Going to be hitting the water May 19th the opener. It will complete the cyle for my father and I. We will have fished the WI, and MI opener before landing in Canada. Life can be rough at times, but I'm learning to deal with it.
