Default Lund pro guide question

Just wondering if anyone knows of a 3 bank charger that fits into the 1825 pro guide. Heard that the minnkota 3 banks don't fit.

We fit one into a 1725 Pro Guide.

I've got one in my 1725 pro guide so can't see that it wouldn't fit the 1825.

Everything I've read says they fit into the 1725 but not the 1825...I know, doesn't make sense to me either.

I wish someone would measure and publish the dimensions of the battery area (on the 1825), so we knew what we had to work with.

A Minn Kota MK-330D is 16.25" x 7.5" x 4" ,10 amps/bank http://store.minnkotamotors.com/prod...K_330D_(3_bank)

A Dual Pro SS3 is 11.25" x 8" x 4.75", also 10 amps/bank http://pcsdv.corecommerce.com/Sports...an-Series.html

A pair of 31-series trays looks like they'll need about 15"(side by side) x 13"

A dual-27 series battery tray (both batteries in 1 tray) is 14" x 12.25" http://www.cabelas.com/auto-boat-bat...&mr:adType=pla

So, anyone with an 1825 Pro Guide have a tape measure???????

I can't get at my 1825 for a while but....

I had a 1725 before the 1825 and the MinnKota 3 bank fit fine. I then went to the 1825 and as I was at the dealer waiting while they rigged the boat the rigger came out and told me that they could not fit the 3 bank in the 1825. He said he tried every which way and it would not fit and invited me to get up in the boat and try. I did not try but took his word. I went with the two bank and a single bank which is located in my aft battery compartment. This dealer sells a ton on Lunds and its not their first lap around the track.

When possible I will get a measurement for the 1825.

Why not just put the 3 bank in the stern battery compartment? Does it not fit there either?

Don't know if the 3 bank would fit in that compartment along with the starting battery. If it will fit it would be very very tight. The dealer suggested the 2 bank up front and the single bank in the rear. I am not sure but I think the problem on the 1825 is not the size of the compartment up front but the hole size to get the charger in.

I have a minn kota 330D in my 1825 Pro Guide. It's mounted to the bulk head in the compartment to the left of the rod storage and runs to the battery compartment through pre-existing holes. I'm assuming your question is refering to fitting in the battery compartment , in which case it will not fit. My setup works great though and is very easy to access.

The 1725 is wider than the 1825 so, I guess some room is lost in the storage compartments.
