Default Lowe Pontoons

my dad is looking at a Lowe Platinum Pontoon. i dont know much about lowe boats and wondering if anyone has any good/bad advice on them. he has a Leisure 22' now that is nice but he wants different seating and the local cablelas has one in stock.

I do not have a Lowe pontoon but do have a Lowe FM165 classic and LOVE IT. Also a friend of mine has the FS165 that is an 08...he was on a fishing trip a few weeks ago and the paint started to peel on it...took it to Cabelas, they submited the paper work to Lowe and they are going to paint it this winter.
So far no complaints on there deep V fising boats and warranty!

Can't you just replace some of the couches with pedestal seats? Add a big cooler for a livewell.

Had one years ago, of the two I owned I liked the Lowe the best.

one he has now has pedestal seats and he wants more seating. this is not our fishing boat it will be a recreational use only.

If it's a fun pontoon, check out Manitou pontoons. The bottom of the tubes is flat, with vee'd tips. Much faster because it's a planing boat, not primarily a displacement.
