I hit the river this past wed. and thurs. and did pretty good. Water's actually a bit low and clear.. which makes it a little tougher.. but the fish are still around. I'm taking a short break from the river to warm up. Down in the Bahamas right now and heading out for mahi mahi in the morning. I know they're not walleyes, but they'll have to do. Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

Auction done, time to fish! Heading to a new spot tonight, I scouted a few weeks ago. Long long eddy with with nice slack water to about 8 feet and perfectly reachable on foot. Putting the neoprenes on tonight. I hate wading in the dark but I can't resist this spot any longer! Fish on!

Wow did you fall in a deep hole or just not catch anything, havent seen any missing person reports yet..........

By the way river looking great and heard the Rainbows were starting to run in Catherine creek NY!!!!!Heading up this weekend to check some out (NO-FISHING),they prolly wont be any there when the season opens if there spawning this early??????I love going up and slaughtering the suckers after the crowd thins out though!!!!!!Makes great cat-fish cut-bait.............But im loaded up on that from last year, just gotta wait for the flood stage that only happens a couple times each spring for the great Cat slaughter (but maybe never this year with no snow-pack)......

Nawww I was just too beat to go last night. Going to try to make it out tonight. I scouted the eddy in question and might be able to get in without wading. Will post when I get back.
