I replaced my bunks this year because one was badly warped. I found out when I took it off that it was actually rotten. That being said I just got regular Douglas Fir 2x6s. I figured next time the bunk carpet goes bad I will just replace the boards again as well. It's easier working with new boards than trying to strip the carpet & staples from the old ones. The 2 10' 2x6s were 20$
