Default recommended speed for spinners

what do you recommend for speed on running spinner rigs on erie or lake Ontario,whats to fast? whats to slow? and what do you recommend for weighting the rigs down,,thanks alot

I mainly fish western basin Lake Erie. I start my day at about 1.2 mph then vary speed till the fish tell me what they like. I use 1 or 2 oz in line weights but never at the same time, either all 1's or all 2's. Depends on if the fish are deep or suspended. I often run a 6 or 8 rod spread. On one side of the boat I run my lines back off the boards 20, 40 , 60 etc, the other side I run 30, 50, 70 etc, this covers a large variety of depths and then dial them in till all lines are running the same or close to the same distance back until the bite changes, then start the process over
