I always take a picture on my phone along with saving the completed order on the computer, if they don't allow a file to be saved or it's in a strange format I take a screen shot. Last year Michigan dnr accepted it(license picture on my phone) the day after I bought it.

MNR sent and email back today. We will have to go into a registered dealer on the way up and pay a small fee to get another copy printed. Sounds like our lodge may be a registered dealer.

It apparently depends on who you deal with. Several years ago, after not being able to print, and did not save (computer prob) I emailed for help. Was basically told too bad. I phoned up there and got a nice lady who took my info and sent me my license. I suggest you try calling.

Happened to Me last year... Paid for the license, tested printer, went to print license and My laptop refused to communicate with the printer...
I called Ontario Resources and explained what had happened, The Lady said to just go ahead and purchase the SAME license when You get to Ontario, Their system would recognize it, and send a refund to You...
Got the refund back within 2 weeks after the trip....
