Balzy,
If you plan on catching walleye - try to do most of your fishing at night.

Fish from 7 pm to 7 am.

Then, sleep during the day.

Much more difficult to catch walleye in this clear lake during the bright summer days.

Default Woman Lake

What kind of vacation are you hoping for? Woman Lake is a great place to take a family but like REW stated, wouldn't count on catching a lot of walleyes during the day.

However, plenty of pan fish to catch during the day for the kids and or a fish fry if you wish.

Good luck

Take the kids over to Longville for the Turtle races. Always lots of fun in the summer.

When we used to vacation in that area with the kids, I would fish with maybe one of the kids from dawn to 8 am and from 8 pm to sundown.

Then, at other times, do some cruising or water sports or picnics on a sandy shore.

fun family times.

When the kids were teen agers, we would rent a house on the lake for a week and the kids would all bring along a friend for the week. So, always plenty of things going on all of the time.

Be safe
