Default 75hp Mercury 4stroke restrictor plate

Ive read some old post on this. And was wondering if anyone was still running with the restictor plate out. I have a 2014 model and wanting to do the same but need some more info before i do. Thanks

Yes a big difference in power on mine as well. I've took it out and run a couple of miles. My motor is a fuel injection and iam just curious if i leave it out would it cause any damage. I gained 8mph and around 500rpm

2014 under warranty? I'd be afraid of jeopardizing my warranty. Computers know all!
