Default Skeeter Solera 189

Has anyone seen this boat in person? I looks to be one of the first fish 'n/Ski that actually more fish than ski. It looks to be a lot more fish than ski.

I'd like to see one. With a big family that LOVES to be on the water. But, not all of them like to fish. Me, son and 2 daughters like to. The rest just want to play.

I saw it at a couple of the boat shows. It's a great boat right in line with the Reata, Stratos 386, and Triton Allure. One of the things I like about it is the dual pedestal seats on the rear deck. Two people can be back there jigging or bobber fishing at the same time. Perfect for kids.

The Skeeter Boat Center will let you take it out for a test ride. I also recommend checking out their long video going over the boat in detail on Youtube. This boat is at the top of my list and I am close to buying. They did their research looking at all of the other similar boats out there and it shows.

My buddy just got his two weeks ago. He told me he's the first in WI to get a rigged one on the water and his is the first Solera anywhere to hit the water with a kicker on it.

It is a sweet boat. Definitely more fish than ski. Decent sized rear livewell, bimini removes easily, front cushions remove. ladder stows. Real nice boat. 24V bowmount, kicker.

A guy may have a little trouble mounting one of the really big graphs, but the medium sized like his fits well.

I like the blower that circulates air under the floor to dry things out when in the garage.

Thanks guys.

I'm a few years out from buying. The Ragner 1880MS is the top of my list but this sure looks like I should take a look and compare them.

I've fished out of a Skeeter plenty of time and do like them.

I sat in one at the Minneapolis boat show. I liked everything about it except the goofy folding step thing between the consoles.

Just seemed out of place and an afterthought (though I'm sure it was entirely planned).

was there a cooler under it? I thought that of a different model Skeeter years ago, and found out it was a cooler.

No, if I remember right you actually have to flip it out of the way to access the rod locker. Weird and dumb design in my eyes.
