Nice to see some central Iowa talk on here. I typically fish Brushy these days since Big Creek tends to get green.

Matt
Brushy had a big algae bloom last week, at least it wasn't the blue green algae like big creek gets.

Happy to see Central Iowa on here. I haven't been out for two weeks, but at Big Creek I was catching a lot of small eyes. I heard the Gills are biting well now.

Headed with my 6 year old to Clear Lake on Monday to load up on some Yellow Bass and to camp as well. If he's up for it we may troll little for a eye or two. I'll report back

Shoot me a PM anybody who want's to do some fishing. I'm usually available during the week.

You should be able to get into some eyes there too, sounds like the bite has been great there this year.

Just got back from Clear Lake. The Walleye bite is very good right now. The Yellow Bass are Spawning, and in shallow, and easy to catch. My boy and I spent most of our time focused on the Yellow Bass, so he could have more action.

My son suggested we use the public fish cleaning station. Actually, that was the first time I have ever use a fish cleaning station. Wow, where have I been, fish cleaning station are awesome. I'm not sure what took me so long but, I love them. Also, visited with some nice gentleman while cleaning fish. We had great time fishing and camping.
