Default Are other operators of my boat covered?

Just curious if you let others operate your boat, with or without you on board, what happens in case of an accident?

Insurance policies can be written both ways. The only way to be 100% sure would be to read the policy.

Thanks for replies, I had my agent check, looks like I'm covered if I give the person permission to use my boat.
