Default swamped and beat

Yesterday I got caught out in a nasty storm did all I could do to get back to shore, but ended up swamping the boat really bad at the dock. Waves were so big it moved the states heavy boat dock.
Have full coverage on everything including gear. My question is one of my sonars got completely wiped off mount and all, even ripped my drivers seat off its mount never saw that before, sand and seaweed in places I don't think I could have even put it. Manage to grab sonar unit (fully of water) I know that one is probably a goner but I have to more in the same place. I don't want to have problems down the road with the other two. Can I keep claim open till I know they work properly? Also beat up skeg on motor pretty bad, know that can be fixed but all the sand and seaweed worry me about the motor, motor didn't get submerged but waves were going over the top of it. Will insurance take care off a check over of motor.

Glad to be alive
thanks, oldgreg
