Default Lund Boat Cover Straps (Not Track Cover)

I picked up used 09 Pro V. It has the cover that hangs (Not the snap on custom cover) half way down the hull and needs bungee cords to strap down. The cover did nto come with the straps. The local Lund dealer just stock 30" cables which seem awfully long if you wish to have your cover tight. Does anyone else have this lund cover and if so, how long are the cable do you use? It has 10 strap down locations per side and a cinch strap in back.

I had two Lund tarps like that and what I did which worked very well was just buy the bungee cord in bulk and cut it to the proper length. I also bought hooks that you could quickly shorten or lengthen the cord if need be. I looped the tarp end through the existing eye and used a piece of wire to crimp the loop. covered this with electrician tape. For added protection so the boat wouldn't get rubbed I also had little flaps installed on the tarp at the loops so they were between the boat surface and the loop.
Make sure you make a tight crimp so you leave no sharp edges protruding.

Thanks...Did you run all individually or cheat and go cover to bunk to cover and "V" it on some of them? I have had peopel tell me that, but that may not be the best for the cover alignment?

I did each one individually. There were times that I travelled in bad side winds that I needed to cinch them up a bit tighter and needed all the bungee cords I could get to keep the tarp in place.
