Default Kicker shaft length?

Currently have a 20" kicker but lacks power tilt. Dealer has 25" kicker with power tilt in stock. I troll a lot but always forward gear. Never had problem with current kicker coming out of the water. Also always fishing in at least 10' of water. Soo, go ahead with 25" or wait for 20"?

I had the same choice and went with the 25" shaft. Works well for me. I would have had to wait two months for a 20".

What kind of boat will a 25" shaft drag the water when trimmed up when taking off and planning with the big motor?
