Default How to lure those cold front walleyes into biting

Hey guys we all know the drill. Cold front comes through and the walleyes get lockjaw. Was out this weekend after a typical coldfront pattern and had walleyes coming in constantly but would just sit and stare at my spoon. What are some ideas or tactics on how you would get them to respond. Thanks VikesFan

When this happens I switch to a crappie ultra light rod and a tear drop jig and a minnow head. I can catch those fish 90% of the time, I found that you really need to finesse those finicky walleye into biting. I caught a 27inch walleye last year using this method what a fight on ultralight tackle and line.
