Its good talking to ya,I could talk for hours about fishing the North Branch in person or on the phone!!!!!!!People think they need $20 grand jet boats to catch walleye, and seen plenty of them...I can/would out fish any of them in a 3 horse power out board IMO.....

My buddy is coming up from Virginia right now and says fisherman are loaded up on the river down near Harrisburg!!!!Said he seen one boat landing a walleye, and another launch had 50 boats (he might exaggerate a little)...

But I guess they can not target bass now in the southern zone of the susky or ya get fined, maybe everyone headed a lil north to where its just legal????Going to get the jet out later and get it sea-worthy and maybe catch a few walleye/bass/northerns or musky while were at it,it was cold this morning though......

Season opener is almost here and looks like its gonna be a banner one with the fore-casted warm up!!!!!

Made it out yesterday and what a difference a day makes!!!!Got some real nice smallies and 3 walleye (2 legal) all slow rolling on the bottom.....But we went further north into NY this time, maybe most the walleye are still up near there spawning grounds????Well we added 3 walleye to our 100 walleye goal this spring,we are having a lil compo with my brother whos mainly a shore fisherman that has 7 on his list so far....Come Saturday that will/should be blown outta the water if water levels hold!!!!!

A lil over 18 from yesterday, only thing worth pic taking cause no stringer fulls till Saturday opener...

Well since there is no Susky fisherman seem to be around/fishing might as well brag up my buddies fishing skills!!!!!The guy in the pic is a real good fisherman from Virginia...He goes out on the ocean and catches fish that dwarf our little walleye/bass,but loves to come up and fish with me on the susky! He actually is on a Charter boats brochure with his catch of a giant Snowy grouper, and his brother actually had the world record until a few months ago....I taught him every-thing he knows on this river and even out-fishes me sometimes now!!!!!

No posts in 3 weeks. You guys must be out fishing. How you guys doing with the walleyes over there? Don't know what the walleye fishing is like on the Susky this year, but it's very sporadic here on the Tioga river. Nothing like last spring.

LOL!!!! Our problem on the Tioga is low clear water. Went last night for a few hours. I could see 'em down there with their eyes all a glow, but they still had lock jaw...frustrating!
