Default Another question for the Skeeter 1880 owners

Just got back from the sportsmans show and I think I'll be buying tomorrow. One last question: How are the 1880's (mine would be a 1850 - but I believe the hull's are identical) for back trolling? The only time I would back troll would be when the waves get closer to 2 1/2 to 3 feet. I really do like everything about the 1850, but would like to hear some feedback. I know these boats and the rangers aren't designed for backtrolling, but will this boat be a lot worse than my alumacraft trophy was when backtrolling? I really just want to know what I'm getting into. Thanks again for all the valuable input.

Have a 06 Skeeter 1880 love it. I would put Wave Wackers on if you back troll. I have a 80 vantage on my with Wave Wackers works great.

Great boat, You will enjoy fishing out of it. .

Just curious when i looked at the Skeeter website, what is the difference between an 1850 and a 1900?? Looks like the same dimensions and HP rating?? Seems odd to have two boats so close together?? I did look at an 1880 when I was shopping for boats a couple years ago.
