Default Navionics Hotmaps "high definition"

I just bought a 2008 Navionics Hotmaps Premium chip for Canada. The advertising says that Sturgeon Lake in Ontario is a high definition lake.

When I loaded it into my LCX27c, All I got was contour lines at 20 foot intervals. Not very "high definition".

Is there a setting or something that I'm missing? Or is that as good as it gets?

What was your zoom level? If you are too far out, the contours will show much larger. Once you get zoomed in, past 1/2 mile, the HD contours show up on my chip. But, we are talking a different are chip as well, my experience is not related to the exact lake you speak of. Good luck!
