panel to block the wind below the center windshield
I have a full windshield Alumacraft boat and would like to install a panel that would block the wind coming in under the center section of the windshield.
This boat has a black panel where I'm talking about. http://images.passionperformance.ca/..._16_Xtreme.jpg Any ideas to fabricate something like this, easy to install and remove and won't leave any sharp edged brackets when it's off?

A hundred years ago, my Mentor created the same panel, out of 1/4" thick polycarbonate, that would slide into channels mounted on the sidewalls.

I had a Maxxum a while back and it had a bi-fold door for that purpose. You could probably see it's design on their website.

A canvas shop can make you something that will snap to each side and under the windshield. My Ranger came with a clear plastic one, when you don't want it roll it up and store it taking up no room. Mine keeps me warm and dry.

My Lund came with a canvas cover that snaps around the area below the door. It works great and like 1860Angler says, it takes no storage room.

I almost always have a cooler with me and I started to use it to block the opening.... It would be nice to have something that fit better though.

My G3 came with a wind curtain as well. It folds up very small. Have you checked all through your boat and accessory bags to see if there was one when you bought the boat? Does your bow have four snaps installed where one would could be installed or may be missing from the boat?

Friend of mine got a closet dowl rod and had a curtain sewn, insert a rod top & bottom. Mount with screen door closer on each side. Pop it off, roll it up and put it in a storage compartment.

Yep, a canvas shop can sew one up in 15 min. They will give you some studded snaps to drill into the consoles for the snaps to snap too.
