Default Testoserone?

Anyone go on testosterone? Did it make a difference? My Dr. is suggested I go on it. Lots of different information. Promotes heart disease, prevents heart disease, promotes prostate cancer, prevents prostate cancer, weakens bones , strengthens bones, etc. Did you notice a boost in energy? mood? Too aggressive?

good/bad?

Default One Report I heard

Do your homework. I realize there are many situations that are all different. One report I heard discourage people from doing it. It stated that one side effect was that after taking it for a while, the body stops producing it and relies on the medicine. I'm not asking you to take my word, as there are so many varieties of reports. Be sure to check this out with the Dr. and do your homework to understand the long range effects then weigh the options.

I would not take T unless I had to. I have not heard anything that says it is good for you as far as health, but it definitely will increase your odds of certain illness such as prostate cancer. It may boost energy and "other" things, but what good is that if it causes side effects like Death? Like the other poster said, do your homework.

I would try everything to increase it naturally before I would risk the Pharma way of doing it. Too many risks for me. That's just my opinion for myself. If you are anyway overweight, that kills testosterone big time.

Good link Jethro. Now we all have an excuse when our wives catch us watching porn!

Mine was significantly low and I was feeling severe effects from it. So I began with the replacement therapy. Within two weeks I felt very very much better.

Make sure they don't just put you on it and move on. Figure out the actual cause. Is it primary or secondary hypogonadism....

Default Cheaper solution

I was in the same situation and after much nagging from my wife to do it I did some research. To make a long story short I bought my wife some much cheaper diet pills and after six months everything was fine.
