Truck and trailer turn radius!

I am in the process of putting a turning circle in my driveway. Does anyone know what the turning radius of a f150 pulling a 20ft boat with a dual axle trailer would be?

Go to the local school parking lot this weekend with your rig and some string. Do a comfortable turn while another lays out string along your outside wheels. Measure it up and there ya go.

If it's a Ford pulling it, you'll need to borrow your neighbors yard too. LOL....

Seriously, I agree with Tom. Take the rig over to large parking lot and measure it out. Take some chalk with you.

My suggestion is to make it large enough for when you trade trucks,they are all different. The larger you make it the less grass you have to mow and more time to fish.

I have an '06 (and had an '01 and '98) Expedition. Those have a very tight turning radius. Don't know about the F150.

Can you just drive it with your trailer on? Then add some additional width.

What year, style F150. Regular cab, extended cab, Supercrew, short bed, super short bed, and long bed will all have different turning radii.

I have a 97 SuperCab Long bed. Turning radius is huge!

I would guess that 40 ft would do it.
