Going this weekend to Clear Lake. Anyone had any luck there lately? Also which bait shop to you like, any preferences?

Fished Sunday and caught plenty of nice Yellow Bass. 8 foot was the magic depth. I did not target walleye but did catch 3 small ones.
I noticed a new bait shop Clear Lake Bait on Hwy 18 near the Clear Lake Pharmacy. That will be more convenient for me than Crazy Minnow based on where I was launching the boat. But I did not stop there.
I miss the old Crazy Minnow location, especially when the donut shop was next door.

fishingfarmer did how did you end up? I was there in early May and it was slow at that time. I went to the new baitshop that sits on the north side of 18 and the guys were helpful. I was going to run up there this past week but plans changed. I hope to get there before ice season.
