Default Relacement Springs

Ok...who uses what for replacement springs on their Off Shore boards. It would not be worth my while to import them at $8.00 for two springs. Anyone ever try elastics?? What springs do you use and where do you get them

Been using rubber bands since the first set of springs went limp 10 years ago. Think I spent $3 back then for a bag o bands and still have the same bag.

For an upgrade, Perchjerker on this site sells an adjustable spring for the offshore boards

I just went to my local hardware supplier and matched them up with some springs they had in one of their many drawers of anything you can imagine.

The spring is a Century C73 at the hardware store however I've went to rubber bands since they work way better.
