Default Norfolk Next Week...

Hi All,

Headed to Lake Norfolk in Arkansas next week with the family. Does anyone have any suggestions on general techniques/locations/time-of-day to try for a few eyes? I have never fished there before and am inexperienced in fishing southern reservoirs.

Thanks in advance.

Matt

Default Norfork fishing

Hello: I have caught Walleye there but it can be extremely difficult to consistently catch Walleye. My advice would be to get a guide. My choice of guides would be Binks guide service. Good Luck . O - R

It is early and the Norfork river up north will probably be one spot. Bink is very good. Bob

You might want to read Steve Street's fishing reports for Norfork Lake.

Here's a link: http://blackburnsresort.com/fishing/report/

Also you could stay there if you can get a reservation.

And STR Outfitters fishing reports: http://stroutfitters.blogspot.com/
Tom Reynolds and his son run this guide service and can put you on walleye or stripers.

Would look on a fishing map for points with a drop-off on one side and a flat on the other side, somewhere mid-lake say near Panther Bay area or even farther up the lake. Depending on time of day, the walleye will be feeding on the flat or lurking around the drop off.

Have you fished for walleye before, if so, what is your go-to technique?
