How do you like those? Gofishwalleye Do you have to have your pumps on for them to work? Why would there be two? Do you have two different intakes?

Yep, two intakes, one is for the front bait well. They work well in fact if I forget to turn off the live wells between runs my rears usually overflow. Not a bad thing, they just do.

My Alumacraft has one, nice feature.
I leave the plugs closed for drainning and the water goes out the overflow if/when it over fills.

Go,
If I leave my livewell inlet on full blast with the livewell pickup and leave the drain plug in the livewell, I will also get an overflow. The normal overflow will not handle the volume. Again, a good thing, not a bad thing.

I have this TH Marine water pickup system installed on the back of the transom on my Ranger and it works great. I don't know if i would do the thru hull model but the model installed on outside of the transom is good.

My boat has a fresh water pick up on it. But if I pull the livewell plug and run WOT it will empty the livewell on a long run. The inlet on the freshwater is constricted by a smaller hose than the oulet drain. So the incoming volume is lower than the outgoing volume

Freshwater pickup is a great thing, just experiment with how you use it. I'd hate for someone to drain all the water out during a tourney on some fish and find this out the hard way.

They run from $25-$35 however here is the exact one on Ebay for $15 and my buddies bought them from this seller Captain Surplus. Came quickly and brand new in the package.
