I use a Bottom Bouncer with a Crank behind it. I like to use it in a situation that I know I have like 25' of water and run it at 15 to 20 feet or anyplace else in the water column that I think is effective. It is a great way to catch fish that are staged off the bottom and it will pull them from the bottom too. Probably the most effective method for bigger fish we use.

It also allows for a variety of trolling speeds while still keeping depth control of the lure.
