Default HDS on a reata 1850

Can I use the same sonar as the x135 that is in the boat or do I have to mount an outside sonar for the HDS?

Is this a PITA to do?

Thanks

By sonar do you mean transducer?

If you did mean that you should be able to use the same ducer as before, just check the plugs to see if they line up. If they do it will work, install it on your HDS, if they don't buy a new one.

If the plugs for the x135 are blue, then they should work on the HDS.

I recently had a new HDS5 put on the dash in my 1850.
The shoot thru works fabulously. You will be fine.
