Ranger 617vs fair price?
Im looking into a 2001 Ranger 617vs and i believe that he is going to want 15000.00 for the boat and trailer. I havent looked at it yet but im trying to get some info on what them boats are worth before i look at it. Any info would be a great help thanks.

Depends on what motor is on the boat? What kind of shape it is in and what accesories are on it? If it is in decent shape, etc, that seems pretty fair. There is a 2000 617 on the classifieds here for $20,900, but it has an 06' 150 etec, which raises the price a bit......

Yes, it all depends on a few questions.
What is the primary main motor ? Year ? Is there a kicker ? Year ? Electronics ? How old ? Trolling Motor ? How old ? Tire condition Overall condition of boat Overall condition of trailer ( especially the bunks ) I am going on my 5th year on my 617 and I still think it is one sweet ride....

I had an 03 617 that I bought in 2004 with 3 hrs on it for 27,000. I used that boat until I bought my 2009 619. It had a 150 Yamaha Vmax on it and a T8 kicker and Lowrance electronics. It was in awsome condition and I got 18,000 for it. That boat was unbelievable for a 17 1/2 footer !!! I still get calls on it. And it's been gone for 2 yrs.
