This just stinks. I agree 99% of the people you deal with are honest but its that 1% thats got you looking behind your back and hoping on each transaction that you dont get screwed. Stinks that the folks were on this site.

The only time I had a situation like this I sent funds for something that was never sent to me. Lots of emails got me no where. Finally I google mapped his address and sent him an email asking for confirmation on the directions I had to his house as I was about to book an airline ticket to come have a face to face conversation with him and get my goods...I live in Montana...he lived in Philadelphia. Well...I'm thinking the thought of a Montanan on his door step was not a good one for him and I received a prompt email reply and my goods via next day air. I HATE thiefs...sorry you're dealing with one.

I don't mean to hijack your thread but the same thing happened to me. I sent the GPS puck in good faith and agreed to let Scott hook it up so make sure it worked. He agreed to pay me $75. I still haven't been paid, been over 1 year, and I don't expect too get paid now. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Default Hey Mods and Scott

Could there be a 'sticky' on top of the swap board, kind of a "wall of shame" for the guys that don't live up to their end of the swap?

I agree. Another forum I belong to has a bad guy list and a good guy list always at the top. It works very nice.

Default Found a Jay Godard on fish-hawk.net

Interesting he is selling a Humminbird ICE 35.

http://www.fish-hawk.net/viewtopic.p...47230&p=383706

Career offender?

It looks like his email, phone# and web site are listed in his fish-hawk profile, along with a directory of his posts on that site.

This particular Jay Godard says he is "Sponsored by Northland Tackle, ST-Croix, OFFICE PRO, KOL".

I just signed up over there and will copy this thread to that thread for those there to beware. Oh and it looks like he sold that unit. Maybe this will help that guy out.

Default I just e-mailed him

His e-mail bounced back as undeliverable. I was just gonna share how
I felt about what he did.
