Default Long Lake at Nobleton, WI

Going to be fishing here during the last week of August and first Week of September. Any suggestions on location, tips and techniques for walleye and crappie. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Information on a guide would also be appreciated. Will be fishing from a boat.

72 View with no comments, that's pretty sad. Do people understand what kindness is, or being helpful to others? I understand this type of non-reaction from today's youth. SMH

I've fished Long Lake in Washburn County don't know anything about Nobleton. I think members here are very helpful at least that's been my experience.

I am looking for information about Long Lake in Washburn County. On the map it lists Nobleton as one of the towns near there. Not familiar with the area.

I should have looked at the map a little closer! Long lake has clear water it's known for its walleye and bass fishing however the lake is big and locating the walleyes is challenging. Sometimes you'll catch them with crankbaits around the islands but I've found the best fishing is with crawlers, minnows and leeches in what they call the narrows. If you take a look at the lake map you'll see what looks like a long channel on the North end, that's the narrows. There's a nice bait shop on the North end of the lake that sells premium gas for your boat. Birchwood isn't far away its a nice community where you can find gas or food or you can drive back to Rice Lake approx. 20 minutes, there's also a Walmart in Rice Lake. I've never used a guide so I cant help you with that information but i'll be there in June for a week I can ask around for you. I didn't fish for crappie but I know a guy was fishing for them in front of the Sunset Resort last year. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thank you 7 Mag and NailsWI for the information, I really appreciate it. Looking forward to going there end of August. Looks like a really nice place. Hopefully we will get lucky on the walleye. Tight lines.
