There are enough Lund dealers out here that will offer you your choice of motor, it just might not be the guy in town.

More Mercurys than all other brands combined. That doesn't seem to indicate a hatred or a beleif that the product is inferior.

More Lund boat owners on this site, plus there are more Mercury dealers in the US than any other brand. More dealers, easier to get service. If you add Crestliner to that mix it even gets more lopsided.

Brunswick owns Mercury outboards. Brunswick owns Lund, Lowe, Crestliner, and a few others. You are most likely to get a Brunswick motor (Merc) on it. This is why there are so many. Yes, regardless of the numbers it doesn't make Merc a better motor. Their quality and reliability is stilll inferior to what Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki puts out.
