Default Mississippi river at Bellevue

Was there yesterday and only picked up one small walleye. We were fishing the wingdams below the dam. Tried trolling and casting cranks, jigs.... not much action. Anyone else doing anything at Bellevues or south of there? Thanks

We fished the Bellevue pool Sat. prefishing for
a tourney out of Dubuque on Sun. We just caught
small fish throwing cranks and leeches on 3 ways.
But the winning weight of 26 lbs for the tourney
came from the Bellevue pool. They fished down by
Savanna using 3 ways and crawlers. Also they
caught their fish early then locked back up so they would'nt get caught out. We finished 4th
with 9 3/4 lbs. We fished the lower end of the
Dubuque pool using 3ways and crawlers and also
double rapala rigs. Fishing wing dams. The fish
seemed to be on the outside half of the dams.
Hope this helps.

thanks for the message GLD, sounds like things are picking up. Water temp drops a few degrees the fishing should get a lot better.... sweed
