Army National Guard Joins the FLW

So now my taxes are being used to sponsor bass fishing too. It's bad enough I have to contribute for NASCAR (ARMY and NATIONAL GUARD cars)

This forum sure has a whole lot of ornery reponses.
Advertising the National Guard apparently represents a waste to you, sir.

Honestly, if the biggest "waste" we have in the military is the National Guard doing some advertising, we will be fine.

So, if I sign up with the 'National' Guard, what are my chances of being uprooted from my job and family and sent to the 'international' frontier of Iraq to hunt for those WMD's and therefore, have to pull out of the FLW tournaments next summer?

Sorry if I sound cynical, but I AM! What a waste of 2,000+ young lives that mess has been. Who can ever forget "Mission Accomplished!"

I hope Bush and Cheney rot in a very, very hot place for eternity.

Don't want to go to war? don't take the money and the job from the U.S. gov. Seems very simble. You can't take a job hauling crap at a pig farm take your pay and then say, I don't want to work around pig crap.
