First, I will reiterate my previous coments here at MUSKIE CENTRAL that I belive that a 70# muskie will never be caught. Now, on to your hypothetical question; Heck ya I would keep it. As former pro member Chuck Altimore would say; "you would hear the sound of my club all the way to texas". I have heard those words come from his mouth and I could not agree more! But enuff science fiction on the "next" world record.

I disagree with you...I think a 70 incher will be caught in the next ten years! It is out there somewhere, someone just has to catch it!}>

One thing I know for sure, if I ever had a 70lb Muskie follow my bait, I'd have to sit down for a while. I had a monster come up a few weeks ago that was probably over 50 lbs and found my hands shaking and had a hard time not hyper-ventelating after the big girl followed my figure-8 around and swam off. Almost makes a person want to start wearing appends while fishing.:)

I hope someone on this message board catches the next world record. Then we can hear all about it first hand.

Good luck all.
