I am from Indiana, however I fish about 95% of the time in michigan. I am just getting into musky fishing and I was wondering if there is any good musky lakes in the southern part of Michigan. Besides St Clair I all ready know about that lake it's the one that got me started.

Hudson Lake in Lenawee County has had a nice muskie program going for about 25yrs. Its 700 acres and gets pounded real hard. Drop me an e-mail if you woould like to know more!

I have heard many times at how super the muskellunge fishery at Lake Webster is,why not go there? Sounds like it is more productive than most any lake in our state.

I do go to webster once in a while but like what was said about hudson lake it gets pounded real hard. I have been there on week days and seen a good 12 boats musky fishing. That may not seem like alot but just picture what the weekend is like. Plus I like to fish new areas it seems like every time I fish a new lake I learn something new.

you can try Thornapple in Barry county. Bankson in Van Buren county.I have fished both. Good populations of musky, but both get pounded.
