Just curious if anyone else has had this same problem with CJ spinnerbaits. The problem I am having is that the blade thumps so much that it eventually wears out the ball bearing swivel and breaks the swivel, which in turn loses my blade. I've tried changing to a stronger swivel but this effects the thump of the blade. Anyone else have this problem, and if so what can be done to correct this? I'm refering to the single blade spinnerbait. I've had this happen on a few of the CJ's.
Thanks Frank |

I use CJs spinner baits all the time, but I prefer the double bladed ones. The only problem I have is the lures get so beat up by the Muskies hitting them all the time.
Maybe you could get some replacement ball bearings of a similar size and change them once in a while. I believe you can get replacement blades at Thornes if you need some. Good luck. |
