It's very decent musky boat and a very popular model amung musky fisherman. My dad had one before he decided to stop fishing and it served us well.

I have a Crestliner 16 foot tiller boat and am very happy with it. I have a Evinrude 60 and feel that it is the minimum motor that I would recommend. It is a heavy boat but relatively dry, spray wise. The all welded construction is what sold me. It is a good big water boat but draws a fair amount of water. Don't buy one if you are fishing Missisippi backwaters. Buy a galvanized trailer and you won't regret it. I bought the "next size up" trailer with rollers. These are my prejudices.
I hope this info helps. |

I also have a 1750 Fish Hawk single console, and love it! It has a 115 4 stroke Merc on it, and life time Sirius Satelite radio!

I recently decided to go with the Crestliner Fishhawk 1850 "walk through windshield" I researched this out fully, I have owned a Ranger and sevral other brands as soon as I saw the fish hawk I knew this was it I got that felling right away. I was going to get the Tracker Targa but after looking at the Crestliner there was no way the Crestliner quality was outstanding. I got away from the huge boats like my Ranger because they are way to heavy and unpratical for a multi water use also I dont like glass anymore! espeacial for chasing Muskys on shallow rocks / sandbars witch I do often in northern WI where I live. The Crestliner fishawk seemed real pratical and well thought out. Also like said it is a popular Musky boat. Make sure to get the walk through windsheild! they now offer it on the Fishawk also I got the snap on top, you will not regret this no matter who you are.

I have a 2004 Crestliner 1850 Fish Hawk SC. I just bought it this year. It has an awesome layout for muskie fishing (I personaly like the single console). A ton of deck space, and a big deck in the back. We have fished three out of it with plenty of room. I have a 150 2 stroke on the back, and it moves! I would highly recommend it for muskie fishing.

I haven't got a firm grip on top speed yet, as my new Lowrance 334 and the graph that came with it don't tell the same story. When I bought it I was told 53mph.

Just put a 115 e-tec on a 2005 1750 yesterday, 19 pitch prop, out of the box 51mph, had 90 e-tec on got 38 mph, try four different props, over all been fishing from crestliners for 9 years. For the average serious fisherman a excellent boat, .
